The most important thing you need to learn is how to look after your tree. So here at Bonsai Info we are here to show you the way to grow, prune and nurture your tree. And show you anyone can do this and its never too early or late to start.

Choosing a indoor bonsai
Even though this section is called indoor, these plants/trees will still require lots of natural sunlight and ventilation. You also will be limited in choice, not all bonsai trees are suitable for indoors.
When you see in magazines a beautiful bonsai on a office desk or in a hallway. That is not where these trees live everyday, they require more sunlight than that.
List of popular species
- Ficus (Fig tree): Is one of the most popular because of its good looks and forgiving nature. If you forget to water it for a day or two the tree will survive.
- Crassula (Jade plant): Jade is one of the easiest to grow anywhere. They age quickly and the main trunk thickens at a young age. Jade is very fast growing.
- Ulmus Parvifolia (Chinese Elm): This kind of tree needs plenty of light. But it is the most versatile when it comes to styling. There is something about a well styled elm that looks magical.
